Adam Voges’ ankle injury won’t prevent him from joining up with Australia for a One Day International against Scotland and two Twenty20 Internationals against England.

Voges withdrew from the Nottinghamshire squad to face Hampshire after turning his ankle in a training session on Tuesday but medical assessments have shown that the injury is not serious.

Luke Fletcher was also absent from the Nottinghamshire side after suffering a side strain but is expected to return to the fold to face Worcestershire in next Thursday’s LV County Championship fixture at New Road.
