National Accountancy firm PKF have agreed to extend their deal as official team sponsor of Nottinghamshire's LV County Championship match shirts.

Having begun their association in 2001, the latest two-year extension will see the firm celebrate ten years as proud sponsors of the club.

"Reaching the tenth year of our partnership with Notts will be a fantastic milestone and we value our association very highly," said PKF partner Paul Ellis.

"Notts have shown this season that they are a winning team and we are pleased to have reached agreement to continue to support the club."

PKF's partnership stretches far beyond shirt branding and has seen the company's staff and guests attend domestic and international matches at Trent Bridge and the expansion of a scheme to provide training for promising local cricket coaches.

"I'm right behind them because I have a long personal association with the club as well as the ties through PKF," said Paul

"Mounting such a strong challenge for the LV County Championship this season gave the club and PKF great kudos and we all hope that they can remain in contention next season."

Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club Chief Executive Derek Brewer views the new deal as an indicator of the mutual benefits enjoyed by the respective parties.

"PKF are a truly national firm and although we work closely together on local projects, there are very obvious benefits in terms of the national exposure which we can help them to generate," said Derek.

"I know that they enjoy seeing the shirts on television and in newspapers but they have consistently strived to find new ways to make the deal work for them and for us. I'm delighted that we have reached agreement to take our partnership forward."

PKF are one of the UK's leading firms of accountants and business advisers and have a Nottingham base in Sherwood.
