Everything went according to plan for Notts - except for a massive dent in the bonnet of Pailing?s car from a Lee six on the third day.

Lee sent a delivery from Steve Harmison flying over the Larwood and Voce Stand during his entertaining 47 in Australia?s first innings and Pailing later discovered the ball had landed on his car.

He said: ?I was sitting with guests in the Hound Road Stand when Lee was batting and although I thought at the time it was a massive hit, it never occurred to me my car might be in danger.

?It?s made a bit of damage and I think there will need to be some bodywork done, but I can assure the Australians I won?t be sending them the bill.?
