Swann ready for Northants return
totesport League Division One: Northamptonshire Steelbacks v Notts Outlaws
Start time: 1pm
Supporters? coaches are leaving from the Salutation Inn at 10am.
Tickets cost ?12 for adults and ?6 for under-16s.
The 26-year-old claims the squad are not concerned about dropping to last in the table as they know victories in their last four games will guarantee safety.
He said: ?Four or five weeks ago our chances of surviving had been written off but we seem to have turned the corner with a couple of good wins.
?It all started with the victory over Hampshire at Trent Bridge when Stephen Fleming batted out of his skin to take us home.
?We had got into a bit of a rut after losing a couple of close games but that match showed us how to win under pressure, and our last completed game against Gloucestershire was the first time we got everything right and absolutely destroyed a side.
?Things are so tight that I think any one from seven can go down and we can drag Northants back into it by beating them on Sunday.?
Swann is making his first return to Northampton since signing at Trent Bridge in the winter and is looking forward to the game.
He added: ?I?d pencilled in our two matches with Northants at the start of the season so it was disappointing to have the game at Trent Bridge washed out.
?There?s going to be plenty of family and friends there - it?s going to be a good day.?
Squad: Will Smith, Singh, Hussey, Younis Khan, Patel, Read (captain/wicketkeeper), Ealham, Swann, Clough, Greg Smith, Sidebottom, Harris, Franks.
