The opener celebrated his 30th birthday by top-scoring with 41 against Gloucestershire Gladiators on Friday and is looking forward to meeting his old team-mates.
He said: ?We didn?t bat very well as a team on Friday but the important thing was that we got across the line. I was pleased to get some runs and help out and hopefully I can do that again against Worcestershire.
?The last time I played a totesport League game on my birthday I top-scored as well so it seems to be a good omen for me.
?Worcestershire will play disciplined cricket and we?ll need to stick to our guns to beat them. They?ve had some success in one-day cricket in recent years and have a few high profile match-winners in their side.
?But their position in the table shows they?re no better than us and we can definitely get the win we need.?
