Fleming back in style
Worcestershire Royals 200-9 (Harris 4-48)
Outlaws 204-5 (Fleming 73)
Notts Outlaws won by five wickets
The New Zealander produced a captain?s innings against Worcestershire to drag us out of the relegation zone and is confident the side can stay clear of the bottom three in the final round of matches.
He said: ?We?re putting away the coloured kit for a couple of weeks but we know what we want to do. We set our target to win our last three games and so far we?re on course to do that.
?Against Gloucestershire we managed to get across the line, which was a problem for us earlier in the season, and against Worcestershire we got the batting partnerships we needed to win the match.
?We?ve improved our one-day performances over the course of the summer and with that extra confidence I think we can definitely win the final game against Hampshire.?
Fleming chose to field first and again saw Ryan Sidebottom and AJ Harris claim wickets early on, before the medium pace of Mark Ealham and Gareth Clough tied the visitors down.
A solid start from Will Smith and Anurag Singh gave us the platform we needed and although Fleming was out before the finish, we still cantered home with more than three overs to go.
