Clubmark
- This scheme identifies the best-run clubs in the county; those who are "child friendly", well run and have an organised structure for the whole club in place.
- So far, just 15 clubs have achieved the prestigious accolade of being Clubmark accredited and these are constantly monitored to check they maintain the high standards needed.
- We can tell you who they are and which ones are closest to you.
- If there are no Clubmark accredited clubs in your area we can also advise on which other clubs are working towards accreditation and run thriving youth sections.
Focus Clubs
- The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board was asked three years ago to name the clubs they thought were most proactive at that time in terms of junior development, facility provision, qualified coaches, etc.
- Since then, 22 Focus Clubs were identified but this list is constantly being monitored, and clubs can be added, as well as removed.
- They must been seen to be working towards ECB initiatives as well as being proactive in attending courses set up for the benefit of their clubs while aiming to achieve Clubmark status.
- Nottinghamshire's 22 Focus Clubs are:Â Attenborough, Calverton, Caythorpe, Clifton,Clumber Park, Edwinstowe, Ellerslie, Farnsfield, Kimberley, Kirkby Portland, Mansfield & Pleasley, Mansfield Hosiery Mills, Milton, Notts & Arnold Amateurs, Papplewick & Linby, Plumtree, Radcliffe on Trent, Ransome & Marles (Newark), Southwell, Welbeck Colliery, Wollaton and Worksop.
